Program Aligns Service Members with Best-in-Class Industry Partners in Real-World Job Experiences
Kennesaw, GA – March 10, 2022 – Rubicon Technical Services (RTS) today announced the company has become a member of the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) SkillBridge program.
Each year, approximately 200,000 members of the U.S. Armed Forces, stationed in over 140 military installations in the U.S. and overseas, will leave active duty and reenter the civilian workforce or pursue higher education.
The DOD SkillBridge program is an opportunity for service members to gain valuable civilian work experience through specific industry training, apprenticeships, or internships during the last 180 days of service. SkillBridge connects service members with best-in-class industry partners in real-world job experiences.

Rubicon recently achieved prestigious recognition for three consecutive years of hiring a high percentage of U.S. Veterans 2021 HIRE Vets Medallion Awards Ceremony. “RTS far exceeds the 2021 HIRE Vets 10 percent requirement by hiring 39 percent veterans. Of the Veterans hired in 2020, 80 percent are still employed by RTS. In total, RTS’s workforce is 66 percent occupied by veterans.” Added Mr. Pirrone.
This partnership will also allow RTS to gain timely access to the experience, skills, and unmatched work ethics service members bring to the workforce, while providing an opportunity to craft the SkillBridge program to meet our specific workforce needs, matching those needs to the skills and abilities of initiative-taking service members.
