Kennesaw, GA – Rubicon Technical Services (RTS) announced its receipt of the HIRE Vets Medallion Platinum Award for the fifth consecutive year on November 8th, 2023. The award is presented by the U.S. Department of Labor and recognizes businesses that demonstrate and fulfill a strong commitment to recruiting and hiring U.S. military veterans. RTS has been honored for our exceptional achievements in recruiting and hiring veterans, contributing to the growth of the veteran community, and supporting the country’s workforce.
The HIRE Vets Medallion Award is given to organizations that meet strict criteria for recruiting, employing, and retaining military veterans in the workforce. RTS has exceeded the 2023 HIRE Vets requirement of at least 10 percent of all new hires being veterans with an actual new veteran hire rate of 60% of all new hires. Additionally, 65 percent of the veterans hired in 2022 are still employed by RTS. The total veteran workforce at RTS stands at 62 percent.
The award was initiated by the Honoring Investments in Recruiting and Employing American Military Veterans (HIRE Vets) Act of 2017. It recognizes small businesses, nonprofit organizations, and large companies for excellence in leadership regarding promoting veterans’ employment.

RTS joins approximately 858 other companies from 49 states, plus the District of Columbia, who have shown a commitment to not only hiring veterans but also ensuring that they have a long-term career and growth plan building on the diverse skills they acquired through their military service.
