Commissioning Giants’ revenue surges $100 million over last year

For the second year in a row, they have been ranked among the top 25 consulting specifying engineers in the 2023 Commissioning Giants report. According to the report published by Consulting-Specifying Engineer, the top 25 commissioning firms earned a whopping $831.7 million in commissioning revenue, which is a significant increase from the previous year’s $730 million. What’s more, four firms, including Rubicon Technical Services, generated 100% of their revenue solely from commissioning.
The report also reveals that the majority of firms are consulting-engineering firms with a commissioning division, while about a quarter are commissioning-focused firms. The data reflects commissioning at all levels, including new buildings, whole buildings, emergency power systems, existing buildings, retro-commissioning, building enclosure, monitoring-based, fire protection systems, recommissioning, and communications systems.
